All My Sins

1996-1997. Cherry, lead, hand blown glass, paper ash, silicon (36.5″ h x 24.5″ w x 5″ d)

All My Sins is a cruciform image made of 4 glass elements. After each element was formed, a list of personal sins written in indelible ink on the heaviest rag paper available were placed inside. Those papers were reduced to ashes during the glass annealing process, which also coated the glass forms with carbon.
